The assets of Catalina Tool and Mold, Inc. were purchased by Competitive Engineering, Inc. on September 12, 2008.

CEI has been a leader in engineering and precision manufacturing since 1987, and is based in Tucson, Arizona.  CEI has a global presence with additional facilities in Guadalajara, Mexico and Calamba City, Philippines.

The acquisition by CEI will strengthen Catalina’s current manufacturing capabilities while bringing injection molding and tooling capabilities to the core competencies already offered by CEI.

CTM will continue to provide superior service to our existing customers by offering engineering, mold making, tooling repair, maintenance, and injection molding.  We will work diligently to ensure a seamless transition as we continue to serve our customers.

We are extremely excited about the new capabilities and capacity that we will now be able to offer!
